Rigid Heddle Weaving
An upcoming trend in the crafts, favored by knitter's as a simple and fun form of weaving. The rigid heddle loom is considered a two shaft loom. You will learn the direct warping method, the tabby weave structure, fringe and finishing techniques and troubleshooting your fiber and your loom.
In the 3 week session you will have the ability to bring the loom to and from home for the duration of the class and two projects will be completed, anticipate to weave outside of class.
The use of the Rigid Heddle Cricket Looms are included in the Rigid Heddle Classes. However, a Rental Agreement with a credit card is required to secure the use of the loom and return of the undamaged equipment.
Three week sessions run mid-week days, evenings and/or weekends. Session dates are subject to change according to availability.
